What will you be doing?

As the Digital Transformation Manager for our Southwark Municipal Collections site, you will spearhead digital operations and enhancements. You will leverage data and collaborate with operational teams to identify digital change opportunities, develop solutions and manage delivery. You will act as the primary face between our Digital, Business, and Technology (DB&T) department and front line operational teams, facilitating digital system transitions and fostering local digital advancements.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a highly rewarding role in a dynamic, fast paced service environment, driving digital change and improving service.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with the onsite management team to elevate the quality and application of data, ensuring adherence to and exceeding operational and client requirements.

Assume responsibility for operational data, maintaining its accuracy and currency to the highest standards.

Take ownership of and use digital solutions to re-engineer back-office processes to ensure their ongoing relevance, accuracy, and efficiency through continuous review and improvement.

Develop in-depth knowledge of our Service Management Software (Echo) to become the site's primary expert.

Lead and execute projects to implement changes in processes and workflows.

Drive service digitisation by developing and implementing cutting-edge technological advancements.

Support internal departments by facilitating the communication, training, and deployment of new digital tools or changes.

Contribute to the execution of our digital training strategy and provide operational end-user training.

What are we looking for?

Degree level qualification in Science, Business, Information Systems, Environmental Sciences OR Geographical Information Science

Able to work independently.

Proven experience in operational or analytical management supporting business change.

You will have a high problem solving ability.

Confident communicator with strong relationship management skills, able to simplify complex data analysis for end-user consumption.

Strong project management skills are essential, including defining scope, planning, managing timelines and budgets, risk mitigation, and ensuring on-time, quality project delivery within constraints.

Demonstrate strong organisational skills to handle concurrent tasks.

Ability to manage workload efficiently, addressing various issues promptly.

Proficient in data analytics and manipulation

Desirable: PowerBI, SQL, DataBricks, ArcGIS, ArcOnline, Excel, Google Sheets, AppSheets, ProntoForms, Jira, Lucid.
