The Marketing function works across a range of cross-sector programmes, IP and employee initiatives, creating a pipeline of content and activity that brings recognition to Edelman and the campaigns we create for clients every day.The Digital Marketing Manager will be pivotal in managing Edelman’s digital presence, with a particular focus on content management, website maintenance, and the application of basic HTML/CSS for web updates. This role is integral to delivering Edelman’s overarching global digital strategy and ensuring our online platforms effectively support client growth and talent attraction, as well as managing the day-to-day maintenance of the Edelman (EMEA and Global) digital channels, including DJE Entities.You will help implement and deliver the Edelman global digital strategy, ensuring our digital presence aligns with business objectives and growth strategies.

Content Management & Website Maintenance:

Manage and update content across Edelman’s (EMEA and Global) digital channels, including DJE Entities, within our CMS platform. Apply basic HTML and CSS to create, edit, and optimize web pages, ensuring consistent and high-quality digital content. Serve as the point of contact for website support requests, handling day-to-day updates and ensuring smooth operation across all digital platforms (Edelman and DJE Entities).

Digital Strategy Execution:

Ensure that the global digital strategy is at the core of all marketing activities and campaigns aimed at driving client growth and talent attraction. Collaborate closely with the Senior Website & Analytics Lead to roll out website initiatives, improvements, and general maintenance across Edelman EMEA and Global websites. Support and manage the tracking, analysis and regular reporting of all Edelman sites and DJE Entities ensuring we continually optimize and drive innovation.

Collaboration & Development:

Work with our third-party development partner on new website features, testing, and backlog management. Support the creation of digital assets, including adapting templates and creating graphics using Adobe Photoshop and Figma. Collaborate with external freelancers, UX specialists, and data analysts to continually optimize our digital properties.

Digital Content & SEO:

Develop and manage digital content within Edelman’s CRM system, ensuring it adheres to SEO best practices and is optimized for user engagement. Maintain a Brand Guardian role, ensuring all digital content adheres to brand guidelines and accessibility standards. Work closely with other team members to collate and publish case studies across EMEA and Global. Proactively work with the UK teams on a regular cadence of content to include thought leadership, employee engagement, career updates, case studies, DEI initiatives etc. Create digital content (forms, emails, landing pages etc) within Edelman’s CRM system, with the ability to repurpose content for various platforms and an understanding of UX principles to increase click-through rates and engagement.

Innovation & Technology:

Stay updated with new digital technologies, including AI, to keep Edelman at the forefront of industry advancements. Review and implement new tools and technologies to enhance our digital marketing efforts.

Essential requirements:

2- 3 years of digital marketing experience with a strong focus on content management and website maintenance. Working knowledge of HTML and CSS, with the ability to read, write, and apply these skills to web content. Proficiency in website analytical tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager).  Experience in managing a CMS (, WordPress, Drupal) and creating/editing engaging web content. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and familiarity with Figma, Slack, and JIRA. A strong passion for staying updated with digital trends and best practices. Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail and quality. Strong time management skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team. A positive, flexible attitude with the ability to build relationships across the business at all levels.

Desirable requirements:

Experience in building content within CRM systems (HubSpot or similar) Interest in content generation/editorial as well as design Understanding of UX principles and their application in creating engaging web pages.
