THE ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Digital Marketing Manager to join our dynamic Marketing team. This role is responsible for managing and optimising our marketing technology stack, driving efficiency, and delivering high-impact marketing campaigns through data-driven decisions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of marketing automation, customer relationship management (CRM), analytics tools, and a desire to stay up-to-date with emerging trends in marketing technology.
As a Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimising all digital marketing channels in order to grow revenue year on year.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Digital Marketing Strategy
Support the Group Marketing Manager in delivering the integrated marketing strategy to achieve revenue targets. Play a key role in formulating the data-driven marketing strategy, providing insight and analysis across all digital channels.
Work collaboratively with Digital and Tech Consultant to increase website conversion rates YOY and implement improvements across the customer journey.
Regularly review and optimise all relevant digital marketing channels to improve performance and drive ROI.
Automations & CRM
Develop and maintain marketing automation workflows and segmentation strategies to improve campaign performance and customer engagement.
Build a yearly CRM strategy to increase retention and improve KPIs.
Oversee all automation and email flows and make changes as necessary to maximise revenue opportunities.
Ensure data integrity and compliance across all marketing technology systems, including adherence to privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Website Development and Content Management
Maintain and update the brand’s website with fresh and engaging content, including homepage updates, product pages and landing pages.
Work with the marketing team and web developer to enhance website user experience (UX) and improve online user journeys.
Implement relevant new integrations of tech stack and website tools.
SEO and Content Optimisation
Implement SEO best practices to increase the visibility of digital content and drive organic traffic to the brand’s website and social media channels.
Optimise content for search engines by incorporating relevant keywords, meta descriptions, and alt tags.
Ensure that all digital content is optimised for both desktop and mobile devices, providing a seamless user experience.
Analytics and Reporting
Analyse and report on channel conversion and provide solutions to improve results and drive implementation of these improvements.
Adopt a test-and-learn approach within all digital channels, continuously reporting back on findings and working with the wider team to deliver high performance.
Tech Innovation and AI
Be an advocate for your channels, stay on the pulse of industry trends, and continually share with the team and wider business where appropriate.
Experiment with new content formats, tools, and technologies to enhance engagement and drive innovation in digital marketing efforts.
Identify and evaluate new marketing technologies and AI tools to streamline workflow/processes, enhance the digital guest experience and improve ROI.
Lead new tech stack rollouts and train teams across the business on new marketing tools.
ABOUT YOU:
This role is ideal for someone with previous experience working in similar roles such as Marketing Automation Manager, Online Marketing Manager. Marketing or Data Analysts.
At least 5 years experience working in a similar role across various industries
Hands-on experience with marketing automation & CRM systems (e.g., Revinate, Triptease, Mews)
Expert on email marketing best practices
Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Piwik, Later.com)
Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for creating and optimizing landing pages and email templates.
Knowledge of SEO and digital advertising best practices.
Familiarity with marketing attribution models and cross-channel marketing strategies.
Strong project management skills
