JobdescriptionThe Armed Forces and Veterans Services (AFVS) areresponsible for the delivery of payroll, pensions, welfare andcompensation services to over 180,000 regular and reserve personneland 1 million veterans and their families via numerous ITplatforms. The AFVS Data Team are responsible for delivering aneffective data management and governance service, in accordancewith Government/MoDs Data Strategies, Policies & Practices, forall AFVS’s systems which store, manage and process MoD businessdata, including their associated data interfaces.As a Data Analystyou will be expected to use your analytical skills and knowledge tobecome a subject matter expert in MoD business metadata for AFVS’smajor data systems (inc Armed Forces HR System andPensions/Compensation System).
