Reporting into the Data Systems Manager, the Data Systems Executive is a key position within the Operations arm of the Moorepay marketing team. The role will work with key stakeholders within the wider Data Operations team to enable and maintain the 'Moorepay Data Platform' (MDP). This includes managing data quality as well as administration and maintenance of the ETL Engine and the Data Lakehouse, enabling the business to build value-adding data products at scale to support core business objectives.

In particular, the role holder will conduct a data cleanse exercise to deliver a defined Customer Master Data Management (MDM) framework, including quality metrics, documentation, code and processes to deliver a ‘gold standard’ MDM within the data platform.

The role-holder will be working primarily within Kleene and Snowflake, as well as associated systems and applications.

Key relationships beyond those stated internally will include supporting colleagues across the wider business, and third parties including ETL/Data Warehouse/CRM providers.

Skills & experience

  • Solution-oriented mindset and logical thinker

  • Deep knowledge of ETL processes and sub-systems, data schema, and how to execute best-practice data management

  • Stewardship of named data systems within the wider Moorepay/Zellis data governance framework (SugarCRM, Hubspot, Snowflake)

  • Data quality frameworks/principles, including reporting and management models, and how to activate them within a Data Operating Model

  • Highly data literate with strong data language expertise – SQL and Python primarily – for data manipulation and end-to-end data pipeline management

  • Familiar with data-as-code methodology, specifically around version control and documentation/change controls

  • Knowledge of working within GDPR and other data regulatory frameworks

  • Prioritises accuracy and precision in their work

  • Confident communicator – able to discuss complex topics in a straight forward fashion and say what they mean

  • Contribute to a positive and healthy team culture

  • Delivery of bulletproof, scalable Moorepay Data Platform

  • Delivery of scalable Master Data Management function over FY26

  • Positive and improving eNPS score
