About the Team


You’ll be joining the Data Governance Team within the Chief Data Office and working with stakeholders across the Fitch Group and various locations


How You’ll Make an Impact: 

By working with Data Owner and Stewards to design and implement their respective data quality operating models, identify data quality standards and articulate data quality rules and thresholds


By working with our Tech partners to develop the standards, processes and tools to deploy modern data quality monitoring as part of a federated data quality framework
By project managing framework adoption to completion for prioritised datasets

You May be a Good Fit if:

You have 5+ years’ work experience in data quality and/or data management related role; emphasis on data remediation and issue management.


You have a strong command of data governance and data management best practices, tools, disciplines and business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets
You have extensive experience working with tools used to support data profiling and data quality
You have a proven ability to drive change within an agile matrix structure
You demonstrate strong stakeholder management with an ability to communicate and coordinate change initiatives across stakeholders with different levels of seniority and technical ability
You have strong analytical skills with the ability to identify, quantify and effectively raise business risks associated with data quality
You are proficient in the following data skills/techniques - Business Process Modeling, Data Profiling, Metadata management, Data Quality Monitoring and Issue Management

What Would Make You Stand Out: 

Experience in the Financial Services industry (Ratings sub-industry a plus)


Experience of working in a data domain as a data producer and/or consumer
Practical knowledge or experience of working with Data Management frameworks, e.g., DAMA
Practical knowledge of Soda DQ, and/or Collibra
A Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Information Technology or Business Administration, knowledge in database development and administration.
