Job Description

Stradling the commercial and tech ops team’s, you’ll play a vital role in promoting the Purview aspect of Microsoft Fabric, helping our clients discover, govern and utilise their data to drive enterprise-wide success. You will be at the forefront of our strategy, speaking at events, strategically working with our marketing capability to ultimately drive sales and business growth. You’ll be responsible for originating and developing new opportunities and in part delivering against them.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities for Microsoft Purview and Fabric solutions.
  
  
• Present and demonstrate the value of data governance and analytics platforms to clients, with a focus on Purview’s role in unified data management and compliance.
  
  
• Identify and nurture client relationships to understand their challenges and align solutions to their needs.
  
  
• Collaborate with marketing and leadership to refine messaging and campaigns targeting data governance opportunities.
  
  
• Delivery: Act as a trusted advisor, leading workshops and discovery sessions to deliver against client requirements.
  
  
• Support the implementation and onboarding of Microsoft Purview solutions, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
  
  
• Deliver training, best practices, and advisory services around Microsoft Fabric and Purview.
  
  
• Work closely with the Fabric technical lead to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  
  
• Work with the internal team to align technical capabilities with client requirements and market trends.
  
  
• Represent Makutu at industry events and webinars.
  
  What You Should Have
  
  
• A degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  
  
• 1-2+ years of work experience in Data Governance
  
  
• A strong interest in building a strong career, particularly in the data governance space.
  
  
• A positive, customer-first, results driven attitude.
  
  
• Knowledge of key drivers, behind the adoption of data governance.
