Role Overview:


Are you passionate about ensuring data cleanliness and accuracy? Join us as a Data Governance Senior Manager, where you'll spearhead global taxonomy and data governance initiatives to ensure top-tier data quality for a global clients campaigns. You'll develop a thorough understanding of global taxonomy requirements, collaborate with Publicis and partner agencies, and enhance taxonomy usability.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Data Compliance:Utilise the Publicis Media suite of products to ensure both local and central media teams comply with standardized taxonomy and processes.
  • Data Quality Assurance:Maintain data dictionaries/master data across all platforms. Ensure taxonomy and planning tools reflect accurate media tactics and creatives.
  • Data Integrity Maintenance:Validate that media teams complete necessary information for generating meaningful insights.
  • Data Visualization and Reporting:Empower media teams to visualize data efficiently within reporting dashboards or third-party planning tools, building reports to derive key insights.


Your primary focus will be on managing the data governance network for a key global client, facilitating knowledge transfer, training, and providing leadership to digital data, tech, and buying teams, ensuring superior data quality at Publicis Media.


Core Areas of Focus:

  • Taxonomy Management:Develop and manage consistent taxonomy and naming conventions within key platforms, including Planning Tools, Claravine, proprietary tools, ad servers, and activation platforms.
  • Data Strategy Development:Create a strategic framework for linking data across all client sources, enabling comprehensive reporting and optimization.
  • Network Reporting Utilization:Enhance the use of Publicis reporting tools. Collaborate with teams to evaluate and update these tools, ensuring all strategic activities can be analyzed effectively.
  • Process and Product Design:Collaborate with internal teams and clients to develop and refine data governance processes and products to ensure top-tier data quality.
  • Emergency and Escalation Point of Contact:Serve as the central contact for data governance-related emergencies and escalations.
  • Quality Assurance:Maintain compliance with client-defined taxonomy, using reporting dashboards or manual Python scripts for data validation.


Qualifications:

  • Expertise in data governance standards, ideally in the advertising sectors or similar (but not essential).
  • Comprehensive understanding of paid media processes, including Strategy, Activation, Ad Tech, Analytics, Operations, and Reconciliation.
  • Critical thinking abilities to identify and address business challenges.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and macros.
  • Experience with project management tools like Jira, and familiarity with data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of digital media technologies such as ad servers and DSPs would be advantageous.


Success Criteria:

  • Develop positive relationships with the Operations Lead, Data Governance Associates, Tactical, and Activation Group.
  • Adhere to data standards, resulting in positive client feedback and high-quality assurance scores.
  • Provide constructive support in team management and training.
