Team/Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented BI & Reporting Lead to join our horizontal Data Governance team within the Services organization at Citi.

This role will be pivotal in driving the Reporting & Dashboards workstream. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data lifecycle, data warehousing & BI concepts and stakeholder engagement. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality reporting & dashboards that support data governance, compliance, and business insights.

What you’ll do

  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather high-level requirements and translate them into actionable user stories.
  • Design mockups and dashboard wireframes that align with business needs and governance standards.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and developers to design and implement reporting solutions using Tableau.
  • Own the product backlog, prioritize user stories, and ensure sprint goals align with project timelines and stakeholder expectations.
  • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), user training sessions, and ongoing stakeholder communication.
  • Perform data validations and quality checks to ensure accuracy and integrity in dashboards.
  • Collaborate with the broader data governance team to embed governance principles in reporting solutions.
  • Support the adoption of dashboards by tracking user feedback and driving continuous improvement.

What we’ll need from you

  • Relevant experience in data and analytics roles, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Experience business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and understanding of data modelling, data warehousing & reporting concepts
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and dashboard designs.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology, including sprint planning and backlog management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with data governance operating models, data management subject areas (such as metadata management, data quality, record management, data privacy) and tools is a strong plus.
  • Understanding of project management principles, a proactive mindset, and keen attention to detail.
