Data Engineer - Leeds - Hybrid - £55k - £60k

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Data Engineer with experience using Azure, Databricks, Power BI and SQL to join a well established company who are leaders in their industry. If you are an experienced, capable data engineer with experience spanning over the full end-to-end process you would be a great fit for this role.

Role & Responsibilities

Technical Proficiency:
Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, including pipeline creation, triggers, and integration runtime management.
Knowledge of related Azure services: Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, and Databricks.
Familiarity with other data integration tools (eg, SSIS) and Scripting languages (Python or SQL)
Experience with Power BI for analytics, reporting and visualisation
Data Expertise:
Deep understanding of ETL/ELT principles, data modelling, and relational and non-relational databases.
Experience handling structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to diagnose issues, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance tuning.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Analytical thinking to translate business requirements into technical solutionWhat do I need to apply
