Data Engineer

Azure / SQL / Data warehouse

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Offices Available: Birmingham / Manchester / Liverpool / Leeds / Sheffield

Initially Hybrid - Once set up, moves to Remote (Occasional travel)


This role will see you joining a growing Data Engineering function as a Data Engineer with a Global organisation within the Construction Consultancy industry. The organisation has a really modern cloud estate, having recently migrated to Azure and implemented Dynamics365. The next step of their journey is to move to Microsoft Fabric.

This data team is a small but very well-established team who are integral to the running of the business. Joining as a Data Engineer in the team who will be exposed to new technology and training from day one. You will immediately be exposed to multiple types of data, Power BI and Azure Synapse, then down the line AI and machine learning. This is an exciting opportunity to embed yourself in a thriving function and organisation and really grown and excel your career.


Experience required:

  • Experience working within a modern cloud Data Engineering function
  • Understanding of full lifecycle, from concept to design/development and maintaining data warehouse
  • Cloud experience – Azure
  • SQL/Azure SQL

Desirable (Not Required):

  • Azure Synapse
  • Previous experience in a DevOps environment
