We are working with a forward-thinking housing association that’s on the lookout for a skilled and motivatedData Engineerto join their IT and Digital Transformation team. If you're someone who enjoys turning complex data into meaningful insights that help shape real-world outcomes, this could be the role for you.


As a Data Engineer, you’ll be a key part of a team making data accessible and valuable across the organisation. You’ll support the analytics function by building and maintaining data pipelines and models, helping to ensure that colleagues have reliable, accurate information at their fingertips. The organisation has already rolled out Microsoft Synapse, with several core systems feeding into it, and you’ll help to expand and improve how this data is used.


We’re looking for someone with experience inMicrosoft SynapseandSQL. A strong understanding of data modelling, pipeline development, and tools such as Power BI will be essential, as well as a proactive approach to data quality and process improvement.


You’ll be joining a supportive data team led by the organisation’s Data Architect, and you’ll work closely with colleagues across departments. Collaboration is key here, they’re looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and is excited by the idea of using data to make a genuine difference to people’s lives.


The role comes with a salary of£44,800 per year, based inNewcastle. The organisation supports hybrid working, though some office-based work is required, so you’ll need to be within a commutable distance.
