Diamond are currently working with a number of top tier companies who have a number of exciting projects that require experienced Data Cabling Engineer, London/Kent
Monday Friday 8:00-4:30pm
Salary: £32,000 to £36,000 dependant on experience
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structured Cable Engineer with a strong background in Indoor DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) and structured cabling to join our dynamic team.
This role requires regular travel across the UK and occasionally working away from home, depending on project requirements - notice given in advance.
Key Responsibilities:
•Installation & maintenance of Indoor DAS solutions in commercial and high-profile venues.
•Structured cabling installation, including fibre and copper (Cat6, and Cat6A).
•RF equipment installation, Terminating, testing, and troubleshooting.
•Working at heights to install antennas, feeders, and associated hardware.
•Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Skills & Experience Required
•CNET CNCI or C&G Level 3 in copper and fibre
•ECS, CSCS, or equivalent certification
•Full UK driving licence.
•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•Ability to travel and work flexible hours when required.
Preferred Experience
·Proven experience in Indoor DAS installation and commissioning.
·Experience with Feeder cable terminations and line sweep testing
·Knowledge of RF and cellular technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G).
Benefits:
·40hrs per week - Monday - Friday 8am - 4.30pm
·20 days holiday, increase with length of service plus 8 bank holidays
