A leading digital consultancy is seeking aData Architectto shape and lead the delivery of enterprise-grade data solutions across the public and healthcare sectors. As a key member of the Data & AI capability, you will bring deep expertise in core data architecture disciplines and work closely with clients to design robust, scalable, and forward-thinking data strategies.

As aData Architect, you’ll take a hands-on role in leading technical delivery while providing thought leadership and mentorship within a growing team. You will drive the design of modern data platforms, lead stakeholder engagement, and ensure best-in-class data governance, modelling, and transformation approaches are applied across all projects.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Own data architecture design across large-scale data programmes, with a focus on public and healthcare sector clients
• Shape and deliver robust data strategies across data modelling, transformation, sourcing, and metadata management
• Lead technical assurance, coach junior team members, and support delivery standards across the Data & AI capability
• Engage clients and senior stakeholders to define information strategies, technical requirements, and long-term architecture roadmaps
• Work across complex, multi-stakeholder environments to resolve data definition and mastering challenges at the enterprise level

What You’ll Bring:

• Strong experience in public sector or healthcare data programmes
• Deep knowledge of data architecture practices including data migration, master data management, and metadata frameworks
• Proven track record leading data delivery projects and providing technical direction and assurance
• Highly proficient in at least three major data technologies, with strong awareness of broader tech trends
• Excellent client-facing communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A proactive, adaptable mindset with a demonstrated commitment to mentoring and developing others

Desirable:

• Experience in enterprise data governance and data lake ecosystem design
• Strong understanding of hybrid data storage models and capacity planning
• Familiarity with defining and enforcing data governance processes across large organisations
