As part of a major digital transformation programme, our client is currently recruiting for a Data Architect to build and write the new data policy and deliver a new target operating model.

The Data Architect will have proven experience of working end-end across transformation programmes previously and be able to push change forward and manage stakeholders at c-suite level.

Key responsibilities for the Data Architect

Develop and own the creation and implementation of a new Data Strategy covering the end-to-end lifecycle of data including the formation of data frameworks and a data operating model.
Develop and own the strategy for migrating data from and co-existing with current state legacy systems to new Microsoft based solutions.
Work closely with senior internal stakeholders to develop the strategy and capability for the business to realise 'data as an asset' innovation and gain value from data.
Work closely with colleagues in all Group locations, entities and the business Network to identify, enable and realise benefits, synergies, efficiencies, and consistency from data sharing.
Work closely with technology partners and stakeholders, internally and externally, to configure technology solutions to realise business objectives, to identify and capture opportunities from harnessing data using AI and ML techniques.Key Experience for the Data Architect

This is a hands-on leadership role. The successful candidate will need to be equally comfortable in articulating a data strategy as designing data models and methods.
Previous substantial relevant experience as a data architect or a data analyst.
Experience in operating within a diverse technology environment, ideally with strong digital experience, within a large, customer-oriented service environment.
Experience of developing and implementing data strategy, policy, procedures.
Extensive experience of relevant data protection regulation and needs (such as GDPR).
Experience of / responsibility for complex data transformation project(s).
Ideally experience of/familiarity with the Third sector and/or the financial services sector.
Experience in data management and acquisition, including relationship management, business development and contract negotiations. Please apply for the Data Architect role as directed
