Location:Bristol

Salary: £65,385 - £72,650

Hours: Full time

Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, at our Bristol office.

About This Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Channel Team within Business and Commercial Banking (BCB) for a 12-month FTC as Data Analytics Strategy Manager.

Our role as a Channel team is to provide the insight to improve our channel journeys, giving our customers a better choice of channel to best meet their need. Within Channel Insight we play a pivotal role in providing action orientated insight, which is essential in driving the strategy of channel migration to digital and marketing led channels.

You’ll be extracting, segmenting, and analysing data. Building out the insight recommendations through numeric reasoning that helps deliver the digital strategy. Using several different tools such as SQL and Adobe Analytics access data within our data warehouse.

Your ability to collaborate with others, generate insight, convert into recommendations and present to a senior audience, will really set you up to succeed!

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting delivery of key Group strategic objective to grow BCB digital channels Developing our understanding of the influence our digital engagement activity and customer insight tools have on digital servicing behaviours through web-based analytics and identifying optimisation opportunities Using technical and analytical skills to deepen our knowledge of customers digital channel usage to help shape our strategy to grow digital channel adoption Utilising data visualisation skills to develop self-serve insight dashboards This is not an ETL role, the focus will be on numeric analytics to help drive business decisions

What you’ll need:

You'll have analysis experience using a complex and large relational database (e.g. Teradata etc.) along with an appropriate scripting or programming skill for data extraction such as SQL, SAS, R etc Have a proven track record in using data and insight to influence analytics to develop practical insight and confidence in telling stories through data Experience in web analytics tools (we use Adobe, but experience in other web analytics tools will also be acceptable) Strong partnering and communication skills to deliver your recommendations
