Role: Data Analytics Manager

Location:Leeds, Hybrid (2 days p/w in office)

Salary:£60,000-£70,000 + 10% Bonus


Impactiveare thrilled to be partnering once again with a dynamic, fast-growing Leeds-based organisation, now on the hunt for a brilliantData Analytics Managertolead a talented team of 2-3 data practitioners, shape high-impact insights, and play a pivotal role during an exciting, and ambitious phase of growth.


The type of person:

We’re looking for ahands-on managerwho combines technical expertise with the ability to lead, develop, and inspire a team on a day-to-day basis. You’ll need to be confident managing both internal team members and external stakeholders - and just as comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get into the data yourself.


You will have:

  • 5+ years’ experience in data analyticswith a proven track record of delivering impactful insights.
  • Proven line management experience(in any form)- managing, coaching, or developing a team of 2–3 people (minimum).
  • Experience leading and mentoring analysts, data scientists, or BI developers.
  • Strong technical skills inSQL and Python.
  • Demonstrated ability to turn complex datasets into actionable, strategic recommendations.
  • A track record of working in client-facing roles, ideally in a consultancy or project-based environment.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting, managing multiple priorities at once.


The role:

AsData Analytics Manager, you’ll be both aleader and a doer:

  • Lead, manage, and developa team of 2–3 data analysts, ensuring their growth, performance, and engagement.
  • Act as theprimary point of contactfor key client stakeholders, building strong, trusted relationships.
  • Partner with clients to understand their business challenges, objectives, and analytical requirements.
  • Get hands-on when needed -from deep data dives to code reviews.
  • Oversee the quality, timeliness, and impact of the team’s deliverables.
  • Translate insights into actionable strategiesthat drive business performance.
  • Champion knowledge-sharing, best practices, and continuous learning within your team.
  • Collaborate closely with other teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.


Desired skills & experience:

  • Strong coding skills inPythonandSQL, with solid MS Excel capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills- able to adapt communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with a proactive approach to validating work and setting high standards.
  • Ability to break down complex client needs into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Prior experience of working withcustomer data
