  • Technical Oversight & Data Platform: Oversee the architecture, development, and maintenance of our analytics infrastructure, including our Snowflake Data Warehouse and our dbt-centric transformation layer. Ensure data quality, governance, scalability, and performance.
  • Insight Generation & Delivery: Partner closely with stakeholders across Product, Risk, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to understand their needs, translate them into analytical requirements, and deliver actionable insights through reports, dashboards, and deep-dive analyses.
  • Best Practices & Process Optimisation: Champion and implement best practices in analytics engineering, data modelling, data governance, testing, and documentation to improve data reliability and team efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Management & Communication: Act as a key data evangelist across the company. Clearly articulate complex findings, analytical approaches, and strategic recommendations to diverse audiences, including functional leaders (VPs and C-level executives (CTO, CBO, CFO, etc.)).
What Makes You a Great Fit
  • Experience: 6+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or analytics engineering, with at least 2+ years of proven experience managing and leading analytical teams.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to build, mentor, and motivate high-performing technical teams, with a willingness to engage deeply in technical challenges alongside the team. Experience setting team direction and managing priorities.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Deep proficiency in SQL for complex querying and data manipulation.
    • Extensive hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining data models and transformation pipelines using dbt.
    • Strong understanding of modern data warehousing concepts and practical experience with cloud data warehouses, specifically Snowflake.
    • Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Omni, Looker, Power BI).
  • Strategic & Business Acumen: Ability to understand business challenges, translate them into data problems, and develop analytical solutions and strategic recommendations.
  • Collaboration: Proven track record of effective cross-functional collaboration, building strong relationships with technical and non-technical partners.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts effectively to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
