Our Analytics organisation is structured into five verticals: four embedded analytics areas aligned to key business functions, and a central Business Intelligence team focused on cross-functional reporting and performance enablement. Together with our Data Engineering and Data Science colleagues, we make data a strategic lever to achieve H&B's goals.

As a Supply Chain Analyst in the Core Business Analytics team, you'll partner with stakeholders across Supply Chain Planning, Logistics, Commercial, and DC Operations to deliver insights that improve availability, efficiency, and inventory quality. Whether your focus is demand forecasting, network optimisation, or stock accuracy, you'll play a key role in using data to improve planning and execution across our end-to-end supply chain.


Responsibilities


  • Use data to solve challenges in demand planning, fulfilment, and stock optimisation across Supply Chain and Logistics.
  • Build dashboards in Metabase to track demand, inventory levels, DC throughput, and network efficiency.
  • Write robust SQL to extract and transform data from operational, forecasting, and inventory sources.
  • Deliver ad-hoc analysis on forecast accuracy, inbound flow, and stock availability to support supply decisions.
  • Collaborate across Supply Chain, BI, and Commercial teams to create scalable data products.
  • Contribute to sprint planning and backlog prioritisation within the Supply Chain analytics roadmap.


Location

This is a hybrid role, with 2 days per week expected in either our London or Nuneaton office.


Qualifications


  • SQL proficiency: Comfortable querying, joining, and transforming large datasets from operations, inventory, and supply planning sources.
  • Supply chain awareness: Familiar with concepts like demand forecasting, DC operations, inbound flow, stock availability, and network planning.
  • Communication: Able to translate operational data into insight that's usable by planners, logistics, and commercial teams.
  • Delivery ownership: Manages projects or tasks reliably through agile delivery cycles.
  • Visualisation skills: Designs clean, usable dashboards in Metabase (or experience with equivalent tools like Tableau, Looker, PowerBI).
  • Collaborative mindset: Works well in cross-functional environments and contributes to team delivery.
  • Education & Experience: You have a degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Supply Chain, and 2–4 years of experience in a data or analytics role—preferably in supply chain, retail operations, or forecasting.
