Data Analyst, Senior

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a mission-driven Data Analyst to transform complex datasets, including publicly available information (PAI) and multi-source intelligence, into actionable insights. In today’s data-rich environment, success depends not just on access to information but on the ability to extract meaning from it through structured analysis, visualizations, and automation. If you bring strong analytical skills, a curiosity-driven mindset, and experience working within the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC) or Department of Defense (DoD), we have an opportunity for you to make a measurable impact.

As a Data Analyst on our team, you will support intelligence production by conducting exploratory and explanatory analysis on large, varied datasets. You'll clean, organize, and structure data for analysis, develop dashboards and visualizations, and support the fusion of PAI with classified sources to identify trends, highlight risk factors, and generate decision-ready intelligence. Your work will directly inform mission planning, indications and warnings, and situational awareness efforts. You’ll also help identify opportunities for automation and advanced analytics using tools such as Python, R, or Spark.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data science and national security, combining strong technical acumen with a deep understanding of the mission environment.

Join us. The world can’t wait.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, visualization, or quantitative research using tools and methods to support tactical and senior-level decision-making
  • Experience cleaning, validating, and preparing large datasets for analysis and visualization and using geospatial tools such as ESRI tools and platforms, to support analysis or visualization
  • Experience with PAI
  • Experience in Python or Java, and using tools such as Spark or Databricks, to support large-scale data processing, analysis, and visualization
  • Experience with machine learning, automation, and artificial intelligence techniques applied to data analysis
  • Experience working with the national intelligence community and DoD Joint structure
  • Knowledge of geo-enabled datasets
  • Ability to translate technical findings into clear, actionable insights, and manage multiple projects on tight deadlines
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, or Science field

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience integrating structured and unstructured data via APIs or custom tools
  • Experience with intelligence data fusion, multi-source integration, and IC data standards
  • Experience designing or customizing tools to optimize data mining, cleaning, and analysis workflows
  • Experience supporting intelligence analysis related to African political, security, or socio-economic issues
  • Knowledge of NLP and machine learning methods applied to intelligence use cases
  • Possession of excellent communication skills
  • Possession of excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Possession of excellent client-facing and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field

Clearance

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
