The Role

James Fisher & Sons Plc is undergoing a significant transformation of its core business systems, with a strong focus on ERP implementations across its divisions. As part of this strategic initiative, we are looking for a talented and driven Data Analyst to support the continued rollout of the IFS ERP platform within our Energy Division.


This is a collaborative role where you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, cleanse and prepare data, and ensure the effective use of the ERP system. You’ll bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills to the table, helping to drive data integrity and support operational excellence.


We’re seeking someone with hands-on experience in ERP system implementation and support, who thrives in a team-oriented environment and communicates effectively across departments. Your ability to translate complex data into actionable insights will be key to the success of this transformation.


Principle Accountabilities

  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the ERP system. Support development and maintenance of data standards and procedures.
  • Cleanse data and ensure principles applied to data align with entities already operating on the ERP system
  • Support the implementation and configuration of the ERP system to meet business requirements. Ensure the system is set up correctly and efficiently.
  • Carrying out testing and review of data, documenting results and changes in accordance with requirements of internal controls
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements. Work with stakeholders to implement changes that improve efficiency and effectiveness.


Qualifications and Financial Experience

  • Proven experience in ERP system analysis or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and ERP system functionality.
  • Knowledge of data management and reporting tools.
  • Previous experience with IFS would be advantageous.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
