Data & Reporting Analyst –Utilities Sector

Location:Peterborough.

Contract or permanent role.

Remuneration-£50-60,000 based on experience Contract rates £400-£450 per day.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data & Reporting Analyst to support a major utilities client in delivering high-quality, insightful reporting on their Investment Programme. This role is pivotal in ensuring data integrity, performance tracking, and predictive analysis across their portfolio within their project controls department.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain corporate reports usingMicrosoft Power BI
  • Integrate and link data streams from multiple corporate systems
  • Deliver a unified view of Central Services performance against business plans
  • Create both standardised and bespoke reports based on stakeholder needs
  • Ensure data accuracy, validation, and consistency across reporting outputs
  • Manage data extraction and scheduled refreshes
  • Provide predictive analysis and identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences



Requirements

  • Degree in a relevant field with an analytics focus
  • Proficiency inPower BIand knowledge of project controls toolsP6, andSAP
  • Proven experience in professional business reporting
  • Strong data extraction and manipulation skills in a corporate environment
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience in performance data analysis and predictive modelling
