Your New Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for Data Analyst to join our Group Performance and Improvement team on a full time, permanent basis. This role will be based in Liverpool and offer hybrid working.

As a Data Analyst, you will collaborate closely with various teams to deliver accurate, meaningful reports and visualisations that support business objectives. Using your knowledge and experience in SQL and the Microsoft power platform you will be working on continuous improvement projects and BAU reporting that delivers business benefit.

Reporting to the Senior BI Developer, you will be required to manage your own projects from data gathering to final product sign off and maintenance. Using your knowledge to find the most efficient and effective way of managing, visualising, and maintaining data from all areas of the business. You will also be managing queries and updates along with quality management and troubleshooting through the project and reporting lifecycle, whilst being supported by the Senior BI Developers in the team.

The standard hours of work are based on 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday.

You Will Be Responsible For

  • Data Collection & Management: Gather, clean, and maintain large datasets from multiple sources, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Data Transformation: Create data processing scripts and workflows that transform raw data into usable formats.
  • Reporting & Visualisation: Create clear and informative reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate findings to stakeholders and assist in decision-making.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data is accurate, up-to-date, and free from errors by conducting regular audits and troubleshooting data-related issues.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including wider GSS teams and business wide, understand business needs and provide data-driven solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to data collection, processing, and end product to increase efficiency and enhance data-driven strategies.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure adherence to data privacy regulations and best practices for data security and confidentiality.
  • Key Stakeholder Engagement: Keeping key stakeholders up to date with milestone developments and progression of project.
  • Deadlines: Sticking to deadlines and providing project feedback to the customer regularly.

We Want To Hear From You If You Have

  • Proficient in Power Platform for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Proficient with SQL (Structured Query Language) for querying databases.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools like Power BI.
  • Ability to clean and transform raw data into usable formats for analysis.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Effective team player with the ability to collaborate.
  • Problem solving skills.
