Requirements:
5 GCSEs grades A*-C/9-4 or equivalent, including English Language and Maths, and have completed A Levels or similar qualification (preferably in STEM Subjects). Must have been a
resident of the UKor the British Overseas Territories, or the Crown Dependencies (Channel Islands and Island of Man)
for at least 3 yearsprior to February 1st 2025.

Are you interested in what really makes games tick?
DPS Games, a Wargaming Studio, is looking for a passionate gamer to help us build a new AAA project here in Guildford. You are the right apprentice for us if you are interested in what data can tell us about players and how it can make our titles ever more exciting and engaging.
In this role you will acquire the theoretical and practical skills you need to deliver insights that our development team rely on to make data driven decisions.
Throughout the apprenticeship you will receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure you get the most from this programme.
What will you do?
Learn all the skills and tools you need to be a Data Analyst in the gaming industry: Interpreting, identifying, collecting, and migrating data. Statistical analysis, data mining, and other analytical techniques. Produce dashboards in Tableau and generate data visualisations. Learn the industry standard database language – SQL. Present your findings to stakeholders and make recommendations. Contribute to the development of game features that will be used by millions of players. Gain insider knowledge of game design and development. Collaborate with each team in the DPS Games studio and the wider Wargaming business.
What are we looking for?
You are enthusiastic about games, how they are made, and what motivates the people who play them. A passion for building a career in Data Analytics. An interest in player behavior and how this can be used to further game design. You are eager to learn new skills, and welcome constructive feedback. A logical, systematic, thinker with attention to detail. You possess good communication, collaboration skills and detail-oriented mindset. You are able to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
What will help you stand out?
A passion for games and game development. Knowledge of Free to Play and Live Service games. Knowledge of relational databases, e.g. Access, SQL. Previous qualifications in Math, Physics or Computer Science
