We are a start-up mortgage business, but we’re also part of an asset management business with a strong pedigree as part of a top-300 global asset manager – our products are designed to bring innovation to the market by meeting the needs of both our customers and our funders.


This role will report into the CEO and be fundamental in supporting our exciting proposition to various stakeholders. The role offers a fast-paced environment with a real opportunity to make an impact and be involved in the next phase of our growth from start-up to scale-up.


The Role:

  • Managing the portfolio and data flow for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Improving our Business Intelligence by developing in SQL and Python
  • Analysing and visualizing data in QuickSight
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into data services
  • Technical sign-off of communications and regulatory documents
  • Focus on models and quantitative support
  • Analysis to support improvements to mortgage products, processes and criteria, including market research and data analysis/modelling


We are looking for:

  • 2 to 5 years' experience in a data role
  • Degree-educated or equivalent, preferably in statistics, mathematics, or computer science
  • Analytical skills – data, numeracy/modelling and quantitative analysis
  • Organised and motivated with deep attention to detail
  • SQL, basic skills are a must
  • Proficiency in Amazon QuickSight or other dashboard tooling
  • Enthusiasm for problem-solving and taking ownership of challenging technical problems
  • Strong people skills, building relationships with team members and stakeholders
  • Basic knowledge of financial markets and mortgages is a plus


First and foremost, we are looking for an ambitious self-starter who wants a varied role in sales, analysis and relationship management in capital markets. You’ll work hand-in-hand with experts in mortgages to shape the April proposition for customers and investors. You’ll learn quickly and get the chance to make a massive difference to a growing business.


Hybrid working: 4 days in the office, 1 day remote.

Eligibility to work in the UK is required for this position.
