A payments technology group is seeking a Data Analyst to support a major data transformation initiative within its Commercial Transformation team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with complex data sets, improving data quality, and enabling better reporting and governance across systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project teams to assess current and required data model entities and attributes
  • Facilitate work with business owners and functional leads to deliver analysis-ready data sets
  • Perform data cleansing, mapping, integration, and preprocessing
  • Investigate and resolve data anomalies and inconsistencies
  • Support the development of data governance processes, tools, and KPIs
  • Monitor and report on data quality metrics

Key Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • High proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and facilitation skills
  • Experience with data cleaning tools and scripting languages desirable
  • Solid understanding of data management principles
  • Familiarity with CRM, ERP, and Service Management systems desirable

Details

  • Start date: ASAP
  • Contract type: 6-month contract (with potential to extend or convert to a permanent role)
  • Day rate: £400–£500 Ltd / £250–£350 PAYE
  • Working model: Remote-first with occasional in-person meetings (London-based)
