I am recruiting for my clients who are experts in their Industry and have been established for over 50 years. They are looking for a Data Analyst to keep accurate and up to date information on the system, to analyse stock / sales / margins etc to identify trends and react on the back of them. You will also be creating new spreadsheets / tools to help the department run smoothly.

The Key tasks will include:

  • Updating information on the system to have the most upto date cost pricing / descriptions / coding etc

  • Analysing stock / sales / costs / margins

  • Identify areas worth of investigation – stock movements, ales trajectory etc

  • Working with Sales to help customers transition to the company (i.e. putting their codes on our system, giving them tools to give them support / ease of use

  • KPS’s / Daily / Weekly / Monthly Reports – existing and potential new ones

  • Setup new codes / help with pricing / uploading information etc

  • Work closely with the Purchasing Manager, and supporting the Purchasing Department

  • Manipulating reports / data from all departments, to help them manage information more efficiently

    To be considered for this role:

  • You must have great Excel skills

  • A great eye for detail

  • A good team player

    Benefits:

  • 23 days holiday, 3 to be used during Christmas Shutdown so 20 days to be taken whenever – additional holidays added during length of service – eg extra 2 days after 5 years and then an extra day from 10 years, then every 2 years to max 30

  • Buy or Sell holidays up to 5 per year (certain criteria for this) – next allocation possible for 2026

  • Parking on site – not guaranteed, first come basis

  • Bonus scheme kicks in after probation completed / previous bonus period completed

  • Pension – automatically enrolled onto Govt NEST programme

  • Hours of work 8.00 – 5.00 Monday to Friday, 45 minutes lunch Mon – Thurs, 1 hour on Friday
