Data Analyst - Social Care - Surrey
Make a Real-World Impact with Data That Matters

And we’re looking for a Data Analyst to join their Systems, Data and Insight team to turn information into actionable insight and play a key role in transforming lives through data-driven decisions.
The Role
As Data Analyst, you'll be central to uncovering the "so what" behind their data. You'll lead analytical projects using both quantitative and qualitative methods to inform service delivery, improve quality, and drive innovation in adult social care. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on problem-solving, values purpose in their work, and is passionate about turning data into meaningful change.
What You’ll Do

  • Design and deliver high-quality analyses on a range of operational and strategic issues.
  • Use tools like Power BI, Excel, SQL, Python, or R to build dashboards, models, and insights that support decision-making.
  • Engage with internal teams to identify their analytical needs and deliver relevant, digestible insights.
  • Create impactful visualisations and reports to share findings with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support data quality initiatives and collaborate with data engineers and developers to enhance data structure and usability.
  • Help shape the organisation’s analytical programme and explore emerging digital trends in social care.
    What We’re Looking For
  • 3–4+ years' experience in data analysis, preferably with exposure to health or social care environments.
  • Proven ability to conduct statistical modelling, indicator development and create powerful visualisations.
  • Experience handling large, complex datasets (structured and unstructured) using tools like Power BI, SQL, R, Python or Tableau.
  • Comfortable using qualitative analysis techniques, including thematic or discourse analysis.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills—able to explain insights clearly, ‘tell the story’ and influence action.
