We are seeking a motivatedData Analysis Admin Apprenticeto join our team. This apprenticeship is ideal for someone looking to start a career in data analysis, administration, and reporting.
You will gain hands-on experience by supporting the data team with daily tasks, while learning the fundamentals of data management, analysis tools, and business reporting.
As an apprentice, you will work closely with data analysts and other team members to ensure smooth data processing and support various departments with administrative duties.
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00am - 17:00pm.
Pay: £6.40 per hour.
Aged 16 to 18:The current for an apprentice is £6.40 per hour.
Aged 19 or over and in your first year:The current for an apprentice is £6.40 per hour.
Aged 19 or over and have completed your first year:You’re entitled to the for your age.

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection and Entry
- Gather data from various sources and ensure it is accurately entered into databases or spreadsheets.
- Maintain and update data systems, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
Data Analysis
- Learn how to use tools like Excel, SQL, Python, or specialized data analysis software to manipulate and analyse data.
- Assist in generating reports and dashboards to provide insights to various departments within the organisation.
Administrative Support
- Support the data management team with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and handling correspondence.
- Help maintain records, organize files, and ensure that all documentation is up-to-date.
Learning and Development
- Participate in training programs, workshops, and courses to build knowledge in data analysis, statistical methods, and data visualization.
- Work under the supervision of experienced data analysts or administrators to gain practical experience. Help maintain records, organize files, and ensure that all documentation is up-to-date.
Reporting and Communication
- Assist in the preparation of reports that summarise data findings.
- Communicate insights and findings to supervisors and team members clearly and effectively.
Project Assistance
- Contribute to data-related projects, including data migration, data cleaning, and system implementations.
- Work on special projects as assigned, gaining exposure to different aspects of data administration.
