Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the utilities industry? Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Analyst to join their dynamic team on a temporary basis for 6 months. This exciting opportunity will allow you to leverage your expertise in vendor management while contributing to essential contract analysis and performance management. Role: Commercial Analyst (IT)

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Warwick or Wokingham (Hybrid 1 to 2 days in office)

Rate: £450 per day (umbrella)

About the Role:

As a Commercial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the IT Vendor Manager. Your analytical skills will be essential in managing contract data, ensuring timely renewals, and driving performance against Master Service Agreements. You'll maintain a comprehensive contract database, coordinate vendor governance meetings, and evaluate licensing options. This role is vital to streamlining processes and enhancing decision-making across the organization.

Key Accountabilities:

Support contract reviews and ensure timely management of renewals.
Assist in the coordination and performance management of service contracts.
Maintain an up-to-date contract database for effective decision-making.
Facilitate vendor governance meetings and present insightful recommendations.
Evaluate licensing options and coordinate software license reviews.
Collaborate with finance to optimize invoice management processes.
Manage commercial requests and oversee team task progress using Kanban.
Drive reporting, process improvement, and vendor quarterly business reviews.About You:

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment. You should possess:

Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience in data analysis.
Proven experience in procurement and contractual frameworks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas clearly.
Resilient problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a changing environment.
Experience managing IT vendors and knowledge of software licensing.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is essential.
