About the Role:

As a Commercial Analyst, you’ll do more than just analyse data — you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the business forward. You’ll provide the insights that shape strategy, guide smart financial decisions, and ensure we meet — and exceed — our targets. In this high-impact role, you’ll be central to our growth journey, helping to fuel the success of one of the UK’s leading logistics companies.

• Salary: £29,000 - £31,400 PA

• Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday (37.5 hours per week)

• Location: Crewe, CW1 6BF (Fully office based)

Here's What You Can Expect To Be Doing:

Analysis & Reporting: Monitor and Analyse operation performance data to identify trends, variances, risks, and cost- saving opportunities.

Planning and Analysis: Identify and recommend improvement through data-driven insights and root cause analysis.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and delivery of accurate financial forecasts and budgets, ensuring alignment with AO’s business objectives.

KPI Development: Work with the wider commercial, finance and planning teams to define, monitor, and enhance key performance indicators, ensuring the business is on track with financial goals.

Data Management: Maintain databases and systems, ensuring data integrity and timely reporting.

Ad-Hoc Analysis: Support senior management with ad-hoc commercial analysis and special projects as needed.

Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements within the commercial function, including automation of reporting tools and financial processes.

*Qualifications: CIMA or Work based experience desirable but not essential.
