About the role

We are looking for a data scientist with significant statistical programming experience to work at one of our global biopharma customers on a consulting and development engagement to innovate for their statistical programming capabilities. They are expected to bring extensive knowledge in CDSIC Standard, TLF creation combined with experience in modern open-source (e.g. R) development and best practices in software development and collaboration. They will be working closely with the customer; this demands professionalism and empathy. A dedicated focus on delivering high-impact outcomes that delight our customers is key.

Skills and Experience

A successful candidate will demonstrate these traits:

Experienced stats programmer, having delivered phase II and III clinical study reporting at biopharma or Contract Research Organisations
Strong R and R package development, having used R as the main programming language and associated open-source packages
CDSIC Standard integration
Nice to have R Shiny
Worked directly with cloud infrastructure (ideally Azure)
Understand data modelling (not machine learning modelling)
Can work with customer stakeholders to understand business processes and workflows, and can design solutions to optimize processes via streamlining and automation
DevOps experience and familiarity with app release process
Familiar with agile delivery methods
