About the role

We are looking for a data scientist with significant statistical programming experience to work at one of our global biopharma customers on a consulting and development engagement to innovate for their statistical programming capabilities. They are expected to bring extensive knowledge in CDSIC Standard, TLF creation combined with experience in modern open-source (e.g. R) development and best practices in software development and collaboration. They will be working closely with the customer; this demands professionalism and empathy. A dedicated focus on delivering high-impact outcomes that delight our customers is key.

Skills and Experience

A successful candidate will demonstrate these traits:

  • Experienced stats programmer, having delivered phase II and III clinical study reporting at biopharma or Contract Research Organisations
  • Strong R and R package development, having used R as the main programming language and associated open-source packages
  • CDSIC Standard integration
  • Nice to have R Shiny
  • Worked directly with cloud infrastructure (ideally Azure)
  • Understand data modelling (not machine learning modelling)
  • Can work with customer stakeholders to understand business processes and workflows, and can design solutions to optimize processes via streamlining and automation
  • DevOps experience and familiarity with app release process
  • Familiar with agile delivery methods
