ROLE OVERVIEW

We are currently looking for a Contract SAS Programmer to join a leading Biotech based in the London area. As the Contract SAS Programmer, you will be responsible for supporting a cutting-edge gene therapy clinical trial program in ophthalmology.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Contract SAS Programmer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  1. Provide expert-level programming support for gene therapy ophthalmology programs, creating and maintaining SAS programs to clean, analyse, and report clinical trial data.

  2. Ensure all programming and reporting follow CDISC standards, particularly SDTM and ADaM, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including biostatistics, clinical operations, data management, and regulatory affairs, to drive processes and ensure accurate and timely delivery of clinical data.

  4. Lead efforts to ensure data integrity and consistency throughout the clinical trial, develop validation checks, data cleaning scripts, and resolve data discrepancies.

    ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

    To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Contract SAS Programmer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

  5. Relevant degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

  6. Extensive industry experience in SAS programming within the clinical trials environment, 8-10 years minimum.

  7. A working knowledge and practical experience with CDISC standards, including SDTM and ADaM.

    4. Leadership & problem-solving skills and strong clinical data management & reporting skills
