Care Assistant Overview: As a care assistant, you'll play a crucial role on our team, providing kind and supportive care to our residents. Your main responsibilities will include a wide range of daily activities such as support at meal times, and helping them with their personal care and hygiene needs, such as bathing and grooming.

But it's not just about physical care. You'll have the chance to connect with our residents on a personal level, sharing in their hobbies and interests. Maybe you'll help them cook or bake, or get your hands dirty in the garden. You might even accompany them on fun outings to local attractions or events, providing them with companionship and support throughout the day.

Whether you are experienced or new to care, you'll be an essential part of our residents' lives. You're there to make sure they feel safe and comfortable. And perhaps most importantly, you're there to listen and to care - because your role is about so much more than just the physical tasks at hand.

About the Home:Part of a large charitable organisation, The Tithebarn provides residential care and residential dementia support for up to 42 residents with permanent care or short-stay respite breaks.

Our in-house Training Manager is here to guide you through your induction programme, and our learning and development team is dedicated to helping you flourish and advance your career. We want you to feel confident and empowered to make the most of each day with us.

Set in beautifully landscaped grounds with its own duck pond, The Tithebarn lies in the historic town of Crosby in Liverpool within walking distance of local bus services. There is free parking on site.
