We’re looking for a skilled and driven Business Intelligence Lead to lead our BI initiatives and support Interpath’s growth into a global Financial Advisory and Restructuring platform business. In this end-to-end role, you’ll manage projects from concept to delivery, tackling complex areas such as sales pipeline, revenue, profitability, cash flow, marketing, recruitment, and people metrics. As the function evolves from traditional reporting to strategic BI partnering, you’ll play a key role in shaping data-driven decision-making. You’ll work closely with a range of stakeholders to gather requirements, extract insights, and develop clear, actionable dashboards and reports.
Key Accountabilities:
- Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualisations using BI tools such as Power BI (preferred), Tableau, or Qlik.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
- Optimise BI solutions for performance, usability, and scalability.
- Implement and manage security protocols to ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
- Conduct detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and analytics to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
- Utilise statistical methods and data mining techniques to interpret complex data sets.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Develop best practices and standards for BI processes and documentation.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in BI and data analytics.
Requirements
- BA/MA/BSc/MSc in Mathematics.
- At least 6 years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics within consulting, professional services or a similar environment.
- Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and database management.
- Experience with SQL and data visualisation best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in managing and mentoring a team.
Desirable Criteria:
Familiarity with machine learning concepts and predictive analytics.
