Role Overview

Role OverviewThis role is dedicated to actively supporting the User Acquisition (UA) teams. The individual will provide hands-on analytics support, helping to ensure the UA teams have access to the data and insights they need to make informed decisions. This includes building and maintaining dashboards, adding new metrics and dimensions, and continuously improving the underlying data infrastructure.

Collaboration with the UA teams at a group level is a central aspect of the role, ensuring that their evolving needs are met through scalable, reliable, and insightful data solutions.

Key Responsibilities
As a member of the central Marketing Analytics team, develop and maintain the Looker dashboards and reports that surface major user acquisition and company-wide metrics - design the logic to calculate the metrics, the underlying aggregate tables and support the user acquisition team in data-led analytics. Understand the business users’ needs and context. Create the business-facing documentation on the metrics. Understand the baselines and trends of key metrics. 

Have a good understanding of the data sources and be able to communicate their limitations and nuances to the business.

Propose projects and improvements in Marketing data and dashboards to give Tripledot a competitive advantage.

Work with the business and Data Engineering and Marketing Analytics team to identify, evaluate and incorporate new data sources and metrics into production tables.

Establish best practices for campaign tracking, tool usage, and documentation across all studios to ensure scalable and repeatable processes.

Conduct investigations into irregularities in the metrics, as well as questions that are of strategic importance that require data from multiple sources to answer.

Define and document BI best practices and conventions. Guide business areas to ensure consistency in knowledge and practice across the business.

Working with the relevant teams, continually improve dashboard performance and accuracy.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Experience building out reports within Looker (or relevant BI tool, Looker preferred).

Extensive experience in SQL (Snowflake, Bigquery etc.)

Experience in a Reporting & BI role, delivering and maintaining metrics and dashboards across various teams.

Excellent attention to detail and meticulous approach to organising code, data, dashboards and documentation.

A sophisticated approach to navigating organisations and relationships.

Skilled at explaining difficult concepts to a wide range of stakeholders.
