Net Talentare thrilled to be working in partnership with aleading global FMCG brand based in Glasgowthat’s driving innovation across markets—and they’re now looking to grow their dynamic Data team with the addition of aBusiness Intelligence (BI) Developer.


This is your opportunity to work within afast-paced, global sales operation, reporting directly to the BI Manager, where you'll play a key role in managing databases, delivering high-impact reporting solutions, and powering data-driven decision-making across the business.


What You’ll Be Doing 🚀

  • Develop and maintain ETL processes usingSSISandPower Platform flows, transforming data from internal systems into a centralizedSQL Server data warehouse.
  • Support the company’sBI and reporting infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
  • Enable company-wide analytics by building and managingSSAS OLAP cubesand facilitating seamless data access.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to design and deliverend-to-end reporting solutions using Power BIand desktop app technologies.
  • Contribute to thedesign, development, and administrationof the SQL Server data environment.


Your Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Writing code and automating data flows between systems
  • Designing, managing, and optimizing database structures
  • Gathering business requirements and creating clear documentation
  • Debugging, troubleshooting, and testing BI solutions
  • Managing code through source control systems
  • Analyzing test outcomes and implementing improvements

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • StrongSQL developmentskills
  • Solid understanding ofdatabase and data warehousingprinciples
  • Experience withPower BIor similar data visualization tools
  • Familiarity withETL design and data integrationbest practices
  • Excellent communicator who can engage technical and non-technical stakeholders


Bonus (Desirable) Skills:

  • DAX(Data Analysis Expressions)
  • PowerShellor similar scripting experience
  • Microsoft certifications(SQL, BI, or DBA-related)
  • Exposure toMicrosoft Azure
