Business Intelligence Developer - 3 month contract (Inside IR35)

My client is looking to recruit a Business Intelligence Developer joining a team responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining dashboards, reports and subscriptions using SSRS or Power BI utilising DAX or T-SQL.

Key Responsibilities

Implement all aspects of an application's lifecycle: secure design, coding, security, encryption, error logging, debugging, scalability, code reviews, development, and testing.
Ensure the data extracted from the data warehouse and the information shown to users is accurate and dependable.
To understand how data is turned into information and knowledge and how that knowledge supports and enables key business decisions.
Design, implement and maintain dashboards, reports and subscriptions using SSRS or Power BI utilising DAX or T-SQL

Key skills

Solid experience of using the Microsoft development stack is essential, including Visual Studio, Source Control and SQL Server.
Demonstrable knowledge and experience of Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric.
Experience of using the Microsoft BI stack, including T-SQL (use of complex stored procedures and functions), SSAS (tabular), SSRS, Power BI, DAX.
Knowledge of data warehouse design and optimisation, including the use of relational and OLAP models.
Strong visual design skills used to design and build easily consumable reports and dashboards.
Experience in using master data management solutions.
Building Azure CI/CD DevOps pipelines.
An understanding of the Dataverse within the Power Platform.
