Overview

We are recruiting an experienced Business Intelligence Architect to support a project-based engagement within a local authority setting. The role sits within services supporting Children and Young People and focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing business intelligence and reporting solutions. This is a hybrid role, with a requirement to attend the office two days per week and work remotely for the remaining time.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement business intelligence architecture to support data-driven decision-making
  • Develop and maintain data models, reporting frameworks, and dashboards
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance standards are met
  • Support integration of data from multiple systems and sources
  • Provide technical leadership and best-practice guidance on BI solutions
  • Produce clear documentation and support knowledge transfer
  • Strong experience in a Business Intelligence Architect or senior BI role
  • Proven background in designing and delivering BI and data solutions
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage project-based deliverables
  • Experience in public sector or local authority environments (desirable), Disability Confident
