The ecommerce channel is and will be the key contributor to Petcare Category growth in the future and this is the same for Royal Canin Europe.

You will to co-pilot Sales and Marketing Team in navigating through business challenges via equipping the team with actionable sales/marketing/shopper/consumer insights and recommendations to empower data driven decision making with the ambition to win in ecom space.

This will require leading the development of the data sources, partnering with technical teams to create processes and tools to automate reporting, create data visualization tools, and tools to run advanced analytics as well as building capabilities within the team to upscale on data. The role will help shape the future strategy of the brand within EKA and will require limited external customer facing time.

What are we looking for
  • Proven experience in either an analytical position (Consultant, Sales/Data Analytics) or a commercial role (Sales/ Marketing/ Category Development)
  • Strong analytical mindset. A passion for data analysis, data visualization & optimization
  • Ability to land data science into business practice and enabled advanced modelling technique
  • Proven stakeholder management and engagement experience
  • The capacity to design automated tools
  • Mastery of common reporting tools - Excel, Power BI, Tableau (Required)
  • Knowledge of SQL & Python (Desirable) ECommerce experience (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of web analytics tools (Desirable)
Key responsibilities
  • Lead the data acceleration strategy and agenda, build holistic data approach
  • Pioneer quick and user friendly data & insights driving category overview and turning into tangible actions for the sales and marketing teams.
  • Bring qualitative analysis , insights and recommendations
  • Build data native demand team
  • Deliver sustainable insights via setting up the right process for gathering, processing, analysing, visualizing data and driven insights and recommendations
  • Ability to navigate stakeholders, build connections and mutualize resources/capabilities within broader Mars data eco-system, department peers and 3d party agencies
