Job Description: Business Intelligence Analyst
£45,000 + Bonus | Permanent | London (Flexible Hybrid Model)
Our client, a global leader in the sports betting and gaming industry, is seeking a talented Business Intelligence Analyst to join their Finance Business Intelligence and Analytics team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where data meets finance - and where your insights will shape key business decisions across the Group.
About the Role:
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you'll be a core contributor to the delivery of a cohesive financial data strategy, working within the Group's US division - supporting their largest brand. You will ensure that financial metrics are defined consistently and accurately across the business, transforming complex financial concepts into clear data definitions and sustainable solutions.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of data, finance, and sports betting - and who thrives on translating business needs into technical solutions that drive value.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and maintain robust data definitions for key financial metrics across the Group
Act as a liaison between Data and Finance teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding
Lead onboarding efforts for new brands into the Finance Data Delivery Model
Assist with statutory and audit-related financial data requirements
Contribute to the implementation and optimisation of Alteryx Server across finance teams
Develop automated ETL workflows and support data harmonisation initiatives
Promote best practices in BI, reporting, and process automation
What We're Looking For:
A strong academic background
Experience with business intelligence and data visualisation tools (Tableau preferred)
Understanding of financial terminology and reporting
Hands-on experience writing SQL and working with relational databases
Knowledge of ETL tools; Python skills are a plus
Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills
A proactive, flexible mindset and a passion for innovation
An interest in sports and betting is highly desirable
