  • Managing Permissions, Audiences, Subscriptions, Refreshes and Gateways
  • Advanced SQL skills (preferably using Microsoft SQL Server)
  • Advanced DAX and Power Query (M code) skills

  • Strong understanding of analytical principles, data modelling and business KPIs
  • Experience working with APIs (reading/writing data)
  • Demonstrable passion for solving business problems using data
  • Strong client-facing skills and comfort working in a consultative environment
  • Experience working in or with an IT Managed Service Provider (MSP)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and broader Power Platform (e.g. Power Apps)
  • Knowledge of Power BI REST API and/or embedding solutions
  • Experience using AI tools or interest in integrating AI into BI processes
  • Some practical Python skills (e.g., for Fabric Notebooks, data cleansing, or API integration)
  • Awareness of Azure AD/Entra ID for managing permissions, user access and service principals
  • Basic understanding of OAuth 2.0 for connecting to secure APIs
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g. PL-300, DP-600, or similar Power Platform, Azure or SQL Server qualifications)
  • Valid UK driving licence (essential for client visits, where applicable)

Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

  • Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a high-functioning team
  • Comfortable managing multiple workstreams and shifting priorities
