Position: Business Development Manager – Decarbonization

Location: South Yorkshire

Salary: CIRCA £60k

Essential Site Solutions are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with knowledge of funding streams for the Warm Homes Fund and the key contacts in the local authorities/ registered providers within the area.

The business helps achieve optimised working environments leading to reductions in buildings' energy consumption through the installation and maintenance of Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS), and the application of data analytics to provide building performance insights.

The ideal candidate will have strong skills in client-facing environments and a valid driving license (required due to travel needs).

Key Responsibilities for the Business Development Manager:

  • Develop and promote Building Management Systems solutions to reduce energy consumption.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the social housing industry

  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients.

    Requirements for the Business Development Manager:

  • Strong skills in a client-facing environment.

  • A valid driving license.

  • Knowledge of funding streams for the Warm Homes Fund
