What You’ll Do

As a Business Development Co-Ordinator for the business, your primary responsibility will be to identify upcoming construction projects alongside their contractors and specifiers.

You will:

  • Conduct in-depth research on upcoming construction, infrastructure, and industrial projects, with a focus on those involving significant steel use.

  • Identify and profile key project stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, consultants, and developers, using a range of industry databases, planning portals, trade publications, and associations.

  • Manage and maintain structured project data within a CRM system ensuring accurate categorisation by project type, region, and stage.

  • Deliver regular insights and reports to sales and leadership teams, highlighting market trends, key regional players, and potential project opportunities.

  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and technical teams to support lead generation and strategic planning.

    What You’ll Need

  • Background in market research, business intelligence, or lead generation within the construction, engineering, or industrial sectors.

  • Strong knowledge of construction project lifecycles

  • Skilled in online research, data sourcing, and CRM/database tools; able to manage multiple projects and markets simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with fluency in English; additional languages such as German or French are advantageous.
