In this exciting Business Analyst position, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that data initiatives align with business objectives and requirements, supporting strategy alignment and ensuring a holistic approach is taken.


This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who comes from a Data BA background looking to step into the sector. You will get to join a supportive, collaborative team where you will have the trust and autonomy to deliver and realise benefits for the business.


• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs, objectives and requirements.

• Analyse existing data assets, processes, and workflows to identify data governance gaps and areas for improvement.

• Document business processes, data flows, data dictionaries, data policies, and data governance standards.

• Assist in the development of a data governance framework, including governance structures, roles, responsibilities and decision making processes.

• Define data quality metrics, thresholds and rules to measure and monitor data quality.

• Define KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of data initiatives.

To be considered you will bring broad experience in a Business Analyst role with a focus on data. You will work at pace to enable delivery of the data initiatives, starting with the development and implementation of a Data Governance framework.


Other experience required:


• Proficiency in data analyst tools such as SQL, SAS, Tableau and Power BI.

• Understanding of database systems and experience in querying databases.

• Strong ability to interpret complex datasets and extract actionable insights.

• Excellent problem-solving skills to address business challenges using data-driven approaches
