Pay Rate: £23.67 to £35.75 p/h DOE
Location: Hartlepool TS25 2BZ
Contract length: 19.05.2026 with a possibility of it being extended

Our client, one of the UK's leading energy providers, is looking for an Business Data Analyst to join one of its team on-site at their Power Station in Hartlepool.

Job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative data analyst with strong data analysis skills to support the Business Improvement Team at Hartlepool Power Station.

The data analyst will use their skills to produce insightful trend reports that will influence key business improvement areas. In addition, the analyst will support the Business Improvement function, tracking our key performance indicators and communicating trends/projections to key stakeholders.

Hybrid working will be considered after training and competencies.

Key Skills

Data analysis skills - Data science background would be beneficial
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Being a confident communicator when speaking and liaising with the team and stakeholders
Motivated self-starter
General IT skills (Microsoft office suite, particularly MS Excel)
Ability to learn new concepts and software
Team player
General administration duties
Working with KPI'sQualifications
Candidate should hold a minimum of HNC in a technical / data orientated discipline. Evidence of strong IT / analysis experience will be sought.

This role could be suitable for graduates with a technical background with a passion for data.
