We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Bureau Data Analyst to join the LASER Energy team. In this important role, you’ll deliver insightful data analysis and reporting that helps our customers manage their energy consumption and carbon reduction targets. As a Bureau Data Analyst, you’ll play a vital role in helping our customers understand and optimise their utility consumption and emissions. Your data insights will support effective energy management, helping customers meet carbon reduction goals and comply with industry regulations. Your contribution will directly influence the success of LASER Bureau services and the sustainability impact we achieve together.

What you’ll be doing


  • Providing proactive data analysis and tailored reporting to support energy and carbon reduction objectives


  • Delivering high-quality reports using Monitoring & Targeting (M&T) software and Microsoft Office tools


  • Identifying anomalies and unusual usage patterns, offering practical advice to customers


  • Maintaining accuracy and clarity in all reporting, ensuring compliance with internal quality standards


  • Building strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customer service teams


  • Communicating clearly with customers through phone, email, and meetings, providing expert guidance


  • Promoting continuous improvement of Bureau services by sharing best practices and innovative ideas


  • Keeping up to date with energy industry regulations such as SECR and broader climate change policies


What we’re looking for


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain complex data simply


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and familiarity with data analysis tools


  • Ability to work collaboratively and build trusted relationships with multiple stakeholders


  • Excellent organisational skills to handle multiple reporting deadlines


  • A passion for the energy industry and commitment to sustainability goals
