Senior Business Analyst / Financial Systems Specialist (6-Month Contract to Perm) - Finsbury Park!

Are you a highly skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in financial systems, ready to lead a critical migration project and make a lasting impact This is your chance to drive a major transformation in the housing sector!

We are embarking on a pivotal financial system migration from Dimensions to COINS, a comprehensive overhaul of our financial information and contract management systems. We're seeking an exceptional Financial Systems Specialist (or Senior Business Analyst) to lead the business analysis for this significant project. This is an initial 6-month contract opportunity with a strong potential for permanent conversion upon successful completion.

Salary: Competitive package, circa £50,000 - £65,000 (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Finsbury Park, London (Primary Base) – Hybrid Working Model

About the Project:

This is a critical, multi-phase program of work involving a complete transformation of our financial information and contract management systems. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring a smooth and successful transition, laying the foundation for future financial efficiency and data integrity.

Your Impact & Key Responsibilities:

Lead Business Analysis: Spearhead business analysis activities for the system transition project, gathering requirements and defining solutions.

Data Migration Maestro: Manage complex data extraction and migration processes, ensuring accuracy and integrity.

Testing Strategist: Develop and execute comprehensive system testing strategies, ensuring robustness and reliability.

Training & Adoption: Design and deliver effective user training programs to ensure smooth adoption of the new system.

Collaborative Partner: Work closely within a dedicated team of 3 Business Analysts, a Project Manager, and a Program Manager, collaborating extensively with senior business stakeholders across all phases of implementation.

Implementation Support: Provide critical support throughout all phases of the system implementation lifecycle.

Project Contribution: Actively participate in all three phases of this ambitious program of work.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Proven Business Analysis Expertise: Demonstrable track record in leading business analysis for complex system projects.

Advanced Testing Experience: Hands-on experience in designing, executing, and managing comprehensive system testing.

User Training Capabilities: Ability to develop clear training documentation and deliver effective user training.

Financial Systems Acumen: Strong understanding of financial systems terminology, processes, and best practices.

System Migration Experience: Prior experience in finance system migration projects is highly preferred.

Accounting Background: A formal accounting background or qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, ACA part-qualified/qualified) is highly advantageous.

Technical Requirements:

Proficiency in Dimensions and COINS systems.

Expertise in Data Migration Techniques.

Strong knowledge of Testing Methodologies.

Proven ability to develop high-quality Training Documentation.

Working Arrangements:

Hybrid Flexibility: Enjoy a hybrid working model with typically 2 days per week in our Finsbury Park office (flexible).

Go-Live Support: Be prepared for potential increased office presence during critical go-live periods.

Occasional Travel: Willingness to undertake occasional travel to other project locations as required.

Project Timeline & Opportunity:

Project Initiation: March

Go-Live Target: End of September

Future Potential: Opportunity for continued work on subsequent integration projects beyond the initial contract.

Contract-to-Permanent: This role offers a clear path to a permanent position after a successful contract period, providing long-term career stability and growth.
