CK Group are recruiting for a Biomedical Data Governance Lead, to join a global pharmaceutical company, based in Slough (hybrid), on a contract basis initially for 12 months.

Salary:

£44.82 per hour PAYE or £61.02 per hour Umbrella.

Biomedical Data Governance Lead:

The Data Governance Lead, drives a number of data initiatives across Patient Solutions, to support maximizing the value extracted from data. The role aims at improving data readiness/reuse, implementing better project knowledge management, ensuring proper data governance and overall increasing data literacy and data maturity levels across Patient Solutions.

The development and roll-out of guidelines for the proper handling, storage, protection and dissemination of data, including Knowledge Management guidelines for project teams.
Leading implementation of the data management standards across Patient Solutions.
Support implementation of the global data policies across Patient Solutions (e.g. e-archiving).
Actively engaging in the Data and Technology Enablement Group, the main body discussing, initiating and following projects in the data space in Patient Solutions, bringing together IT, Patient Solutions and Data Office.
Oversee data acquisition efforts by working with the contracting team and IT to bring new datasets.
Being the main interface to the Data Office, ensuring that Patient Solutions perspectives are understood and integrated, and facilitating adoption of Data Office initiatives into Patient Solutions. 
Your Background:

Similar experience in a senior data governance position, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry.
Hold a relevant scientific degree or relevant working experience.
Knowledge and understanding of biomedical data.
Excellent eye for detail.
Proven experience in improving data readiness.

Location:

This role is based at our client’s site in Slough, on a hybrid basis, 2-3 days a week on site.
