The leading consultancy firm has partnered with a market-leading organisation in the hospitality sector. They are currently seeking an experienced Azure Data Architect to join the team on a 6-month contract.

Responsibilities:
Prepare and present key design decisions and high-level architecture documentation for approval by the architectural governance body.
Produce both high-level and low-level design documentation, following established cloud design patterns and architectural standards.
Lead the implementation of Lakehouse architecture using tools such as Azure Databricks, ensuring scalable and efficient data solutions.
Design logical and physical data models to support accurate, performant, and user-friendly reporting and analytics.
Assess data and analytics tools against project requirements, making informed recommendations based on suitability, scalability, and organisational fit.
Skills/Must have:
Proven experience in designing and delivering Azure-based data solutions, with a minimum of 5 years' hands-on experience in Azure implementations.
Strong technical expertise across key Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, Delta Lake, Synapse Analytics, Power BI, Key Vault, Automation Account, PowerShell, SQL Database, and broader Big Data platforms.
Comprehensive understanding of the Azure ecosystem and its architectural components, with the ability to design and deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
Confident in working collaboratively with customer architecture teams, with the ability to challenge and influence design decisions when required.
Skilled in preparing high-quality design documentation and comfortable presenting solutions in architectural forums and governance reviews.
Salary:
£550 per day
